I was so tired from my presenting that I went to bed early and slept all through the second day of the conference! Oh well, I think after our session, the rest of the conference would've been downhill anyway.
Back at the hotel, I watched TV while dad went off to the conference dinner. I thought the weather was too rainy to leave the hotel and walk to the dinner.
After the presentation, I got to have a nice cup of tea to relax. Since we presented on the first day, it meant that all the pressure was off for the second day.
Dad was presenting a workshop at a conference in Durham on Blackboard. Naturally, he was a little nervous, so he asked me to come with him and help out. I told him that it is important to look nice before a session, so we spent awhile grooming me using this mirror in our hotel.
Winter has come swiftly into Sheffield, so Bill and I have begun to exhibit our instinctive natural behaviors from the wild: we are building a nest to stay warm in.
Mom invited a bunch of her friends over for Thanksgiving dinner. Mary is holding Bill. Don't worry, she held me much more throughout the evening. I think she took a picture with him because she felt bad about not paying enough attention to him.
Finally the conference was over, and I got into Dad's backpack for the trip home. I'll definitely go back to Birmingham if I get a chance: it was wonderful.
While dad was at the second day of the conference, he asked me to go get a pumpkin from Tesco. He wanted one to make pumpking pie with for Thanksgiving.
Since Strange Panda got to go to work with Mom, I got to go to a conference in Birmingham with Dad. We stayed at the Novotel hotel, which had really nice rooms. I had the big bed all to myself, and Dad slept on the floor.
We haven't had many adventures since Mom's been busy working on her teaching course. I got to go with her to university one day and hang out with her friends. Here I am at a cafe.
Mom and Dad went with Vernon to Heeley City Farm today. We had a nap while they were gone. I was glad I didn't go, because they met a humongous cow that might have licked me like it did Dad.
Here are our cousins, Hanna, Isobel, and Sienna posing with us in our room. They have grown so much since Christmas, but we are the same size still. How strange.
After Mom's friends left, Aunt Fiona and our cousins came to visit from Jersey. Aunt Fiona took a picture with us in Norwich with the castle in the background.
We also got to see Becky again. She is Adrian's mother. She pretended to throw us in the campfire. Strange Panda was frightened of getting burnt, but I knew she was just getting.
